Is DY Prep right for you?

Qualities of the ideal DY Prep student

Though DY Prep has the programming to support students who dream of becoming professional artists, it is not our expectation that most of our students will choose that path. We aspire to graduate well-rounded young adults who have learned through the arts in a number of ways as part of their high school experience. You do not have to be talented in the arts to be successful at DY Prep. However, students who attend DY Prep MUST be willing to:

• Learn different subjects through the arts
• Work outside of their comfort zone and try new things
• Explore different ways of expressing themselves
• Grow and mature as a people
• Come to school everyday on time
• Wear our school uniform.
• Come to school prepared to learn with the appropriate materials
