Promotion Requirements

To be promoted to the tenth grade, you must earn eight credits in the ninth grade.

To be promoted to the eleventh grade, you must have earned a total of 20 credits by the end of the tenth grade:

• have also earned four credits in ELA and four credits in Social Studies.
• have passed three Regents exams.

To be promoted to the twelfth grade, you must earn a total of 30 credits by the end of the eleventh grade.

All students whose attendance falls below 90% are jeopardizing their promotion to the next grade.
