Graduation/Regents Requirements

All students attending public school in New York State must earn a minimum of 44 credits in order to qualify for graduation with a Regents Diploma. Students at DY Prep take a variety of courses that embody our core values of scholarship, artistry and character. In four years, students are given numerous opportunities to earn enough credits to graduate, and also prepare themselves for college-level work. The chart below shows the subjects and credits needed to achieve the minimum for a Regents diploma, an Advanced Regents diploma, as well as the number of credits students can earn if they do well in all of their classes.
