Parents Association

For the 2007-2008 school year, the Parents Association meets every second Thursday of every month. The goal of the Parents Association is to increase parent involvement in order to maintain a great academic and social environment for our students. By getting parents involved, we believe that our students will have a greater chance of staying in school, doing well and preparing for life after High School.

Parent involvement can take shape in many different ways. At DY Prep, this year we have encouraged our parents to understand our arts integration philosophy through our monthly arts-related workshops. In addition, we have provided parents with information about how to not worry about the financial aspect of college with a very informative college scholarship workshop. We welcome parents to help us build and mold our new school into what our community would like for DreamYard Preparatory School to become.
