Qualities of the ideal DY Prep teacher

Teachers who come to DY Prep MUST be willing to:

• Value the potential for the arts to deepen student understanding of academic content
• Work effectively in teams and committees
• Serve as a student advisor and invest in the overall well-being of children not just their academic well-being
• Use technology as a tool to communicate with staff and families, track student progress, and vary teaching strategies
• Uphold/enforce our cultural norms and conduct code
• Be an active member of a staff dedicated to getting better at how we "do school"
