Haydil Henriquez's "I Don't Want to Slam" was published in
Best Teen Writing as part of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

Congratulation to our poetry slam coach, Renee Watson and our students on their
achievements as Scholastic and Alliance for Young Artists and Writers award
winners!

Lydia Villa, one of our current 9th graders, is ranked in the top 1% of all submitted work. Because of this honor, Lydia is invited to participate in a two-day celebration.
